Random Act of Kindness

A random act of kindness that happened to be was similar to Miss Monica's over at iheartgrade3. I was in the Starbucks drive through towards the end of the school year. That particular day I had a half day planning day with my team. It was my turn to buy the coffee, so I had three coffee orders and two breakfast orders. I think my total was an arm and a leg about $20. I approached the drive thru with my gold Starbucks card (and was prepared to add more $ to it) when the barista told me that the person in front of me had paid for my order. I was flabbergasted. I had heard of it happening before, but I had never had it personally done for me. Whether that person paid for mine because it was a chain of events set forth before them or they started it, it was such a thoughtful gesture. I continued the chain of events and paid for the person behind me. Hopefully they did as well. This goes to show you that just buying someone a cup of joe could make their day.
