Blooms Taxonomy

I am so excited to share my latest project. I have created Blooms Taxonomy Question Sticks. I attached the questions to tongue depressors. I choose a question stick and ask my students questions based on their level. This is a great way to meet the needs of all of your learners. Your challenge kids will do well with evaluation and synthesis questions. Students that are struggling will benefit from straightforward knowledge and comprehension questions

Check out my listing on Teachers Pay Teachers.

If you would like just the labels you can get them here

  ----->  There are 30 sticks/labels in all. <------

Hey Girl....

Calling all teachers!

Have you ever been to the site Hey Girl Teacher? If not, drop everything and check it out! This site posts pictures of celebrities saying funny things about teaching. Many of them are hilarious. Thought I would share it because I enjoy it so much!

Introduction...

Helloooo,

Thanks for stopping by. A little about myself. My name is Amy and I live in Huntington Beach, CA. I have been teaching for three years now (part time). My first year I worked in a 2nd grade overflow classroom (when we still had 20-1)...Ha -Wish that still existed! The past two years I have taught an intervention class. This year I am working with K-3rd grade students. I pull certain students from their classroom and we work on phonics, vocabulary, reading comprehension, etc.

I decided to start blogging because I have recently acquired some free time. Since I work part time teaching I had a second job bar tending at a local sports bar. Well, I recently quit that job.... so for now I have some extra time. I'm going to take this time to do some things I think I might enjoy.

I love blog stalking and do it on the reg... I read all types of blogs, but mostly teaching and beauty types. I'm inspired by all the teaching ideas and am envious of the blog friendships.

Anywho, that's all for now. If you have any questions feel free to ask!
